23. juulil 2026 tabasin ühe oma kauaaegse tuttava kaupluse kodulehel nende allahindluse kampaania, taaskordse. Kena. (Nojah, sellest allahindlusest sain ma tegelt teada e-kirja vahendusel.) Arvasin, et kiikan paari asja, mida mul võib ehk vaja minna. Eks need allahindlused sõltuvad ju sellest, mis hinnast alla hinnata, onju, ärgem seda unustagem!, ja ikka tasub vaadata ka teiste heade v mitte nii "tuttavate" hindasid. =)

Fiskars, mille toodete austaja ma ikka olen olnud – aasta(kümne)te jooksul ostetud ka ja ... kasutan ostetut juba paarkümmend aastat, kõik on endiselt kasutatav –, selle tootja puhul tabasin tema QuikFit tehnoloogia (sama varre kasutamine eri otstega) toodete juures kaupluse kodulehel märget "Viimane võimalus". Viimane võimalus!? Huvitav, kas Fiskars pakub miskit uut!? ... Jah, pakubki, QuikFit asendatakse uue tehnoloogiaga OneClick, tubli! Kuna mul on QuikFit varred, siis tekkis õigustatud küsimus, et kas ma saan nende vanade vartega kasutada ka uuema tehnoloogia otsi/päid/tooteid!? Olin kindel, et saab, Fiskars ju!, Soome firma a-st 1649, "tools for good" jne., kuid ... minu suuureks pettumuseks ei leidnud ma sellist varianti. Küll saab kasutada uute vartega vanu otsi, selleks on arusaadavalt vajalik ja ka olemas eraldi adapter ehk üleminek, samuti on eraldi adapter nn. kolmandate osapoolte otstele, selline adapter oli/on ka QuikFit'i puhul, aga ei paista olevatki varianti kasutada vanade vartega uusi otsi, ei paista! Mh. See tegi ja teeb mind nõutuks. See ju tähendab, et need, kes omavad vanu varsi, need on hädas, sest ilmselgelt tasapisi kaovad (~ kallinevad) ka sobivad otsad ning ei saa kasutada ka uusi tekkivaid otsi, jama ju! Pealegi, kui järele mõelda, siis ideepoolest ei tohiks olla võimatu taolise adapteri tegemine!? Kas on!? Ei usu, tõesti, kindlasti mitte Fiskars'il. Ning - kuis nimetet - ometi on neil adapter teiste firmade otste kasutamiseks! Nõutu. Jah, eks seda uut vart pole ju teab-mis kallis soetada, arusaadavalt sõltub rahakotist, kuigi teleskoopvars pole kindlasti teab-mis odav, aga asi polegi niivõrd selles, pigem ... suhtumises.

I love Fiskars products, I really do, thanks! If I had money, I would buy all of them!
Back to Earth! I’m sure OneClick should be better than old QuikFit, it must be, it’s newer and I’m sure it will improve user experience, but … I’m also sure than out there is many dedicated Fiskars customers who is using old shafts (I personally have three of them, one telescope, not cheap one, you know) and they are left alone! We can’t use new attachments with old shafts, can we! And now we must think about buying attachments for these old shafts we perhaps don’t need right know, but we might need in future, because in coming future it will be harder to get them, obviously. God’s sake, sorry, you even have special adapter for third party’s attachments, but not for Your own! Broken!? Well, I’m also sure this will happen with new design, because … You’ll never know how users handle things. And when things broke (as this happen) … well, anyway, then it’s broken. So far in my hands no Fiskars tool ever broke. I have Fiskars tools bought back in 20 years and these still work as expected! Superb! Yes, I lately have and had a few problems, but related not to design, but to specific item. Well, I must say, “sometimes broke” is indeed poor clarification, don’t You think! And what about “tools for good”!?
I still hope Fiskars will review/reconsider its decision and change this kind of policy, I don’t think this adds up with current EU policies as well. Or it’s impossible task to make this kind of adapter?! Don’t believe that! Not talking personally about myself, yes, I do want to use old shafts (with new attachments) for years to come! And I don’t see any reasonable explanation why not!

I understand the frustration. Let me give you a bit of background to clarify the decisions made within the company. OneClick was originally designed to improve the user experience. The adapter section of the QuikFit handles has had some issues, and in some cases they have even broken. Therefore, we have decided to remove the QuikFit handles from our selection, but the replacement heads are still designed to be used with the new OneClick handle. I hope this helps clarify the situation.

Hi!
Yes, I see, out there is adapter to connect OneClick handles (shafts) and QuikFit attachments (QuikFit to OneClick Adapter, 1080703), but I have QuikFit handles (shafts) and obviously is there need to connect (at least at some point in future) new attachments to old handle (shaft) or these will became obsolete which … is pointless waste and intentional careless, isn’t it!?
So, Fiskars made available using old QuikFit attachments with new type of handles/shafts, but is there a way to connect new OneClick attachments to old handles/shafts? Could be QuikFit Universal Adapter (1000617) helpful?
AI: “Unfortunately, Fiskars does not manufacture a reverse adapter to mount new OneClick tool attachments onto an old QuikFit handle.“. If so, I still hope AI is mistaken, but if so …!
